Rob, this is so disheartening. I am on the West Coast but our beaches are no better. I was just there with my kids over spring break and we had the same experience--plastic garbage strewn all over the shoreline. My 5 year old was so troubled by it. I hope his generation will be a better steward of the environment. As a family we are definitely doing more than ever to reduce our consumption of disposable plastics. Thanks for your help in encouraging better choices. Here's to better beaches in the future!
