Is there a quicker, easier and more filling snack than banana with peanut butter? If possible, buy organic bananas and real peanut butter (just peanuts and NO hydrogenated fat, refined sugar or fake salt).
Chef Rob, I have a question. I like avocados and use them in a variety of ways including snacks, but one thing I have not been able to find out is -- sometimes as the avocado ripens a pinkish-brownish layer forms between the skin and the flesh, which becomes apparent when the fruit is peeled rather than scooped out. What is this and should it be scraped off? I would hate to throw away a perfectly good fruit, but then again, I don't want to eat something bad either.

I have no idea, but I'll try to find out. Does anyone know?
ReplyDeleteIt's too easy to eat the whole container of peanut butter though. Should be a banned food because one delicious spoonful leads to another and another.
ReplyDeleteHaha.
ReplyDeleteLooks great))
